I once heard a very wise man say: “When the purpose of a thing (or person) is unknown, abuse is inevitable. Because we have been told: “knowledge is power”, I believe that the above statement strikes a reverberating chord within us because no one comes into this world desiring abuse (in any way, shape or form). I also believe that there is an innate drive; a passion within us all to “know” and not just know anything for the sake of knowing, but ultimately, to know the true purpose for which we were all created.

Personally, I have always been a firm believer in discovering not only the characteristics or form of someone or something, but also discovering the true meaning behind a person’s actions or the mechanics associated with the manner in which something functions. Hmmm...maybe this explains why - as a child, I was always dismantling my toys. Anyway, this investigative zeal of mine is usually accompanied by what most of my friends would describe as my ‘optimistic outlook’; my perception that something good can be found in every person, everything or every situation; my perception that the glass is always overflowing instead of half empty or half full.

Of course, I would be remiss if I did not say that this passion for discovery, the desire to know and understand form and function, the quest for true purpose; had to start within me - with my asking God familiar questions such as: “Who am I? Why am I here? and finally, What is my true purpose? The Bible says: “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32 KJV). Well...on January 1, 2007 (after 42 years of life on this earth), I found my truth and was liberated by God to step into the fullness of my true purpose, knowledge; revelation that I was uniquely designed and created by God to be used as a vessel for healing - myself and others.

I am extremely enthusiastic that the yearning to know my own true purpose has forever changed my life and unveiled a new dimension; a business to serve others called: Total Restoration Massage Therapy LLC. When clients and prospective clients enter the doors of Total Restoration Massage Therapy LLC, they are not only seeking quality and effective massage therapy treatments to bring them relief from challenges within their muscles, they are oftentimes seeking refuge and a retreat from a loud and fast-paced world that constantly places extreme demands and great stress on them; spirit, soul and body.

With the arrival of every new client I perceive another opportunity to operate within my purpose by availing myself as a vessel to deliver healing and peace (internally and externally) to those who may be in pursuit of discovering their own true purpose or perhaps, I assist those who are already operating in the fullness of their true purpose with maintaining their healing and perpetuating an atmosphere of peace so that they can continue to operate within their purpose.

It is my earnest desire to utilize TRJ (Total Restoration Journal) as an extension of myself and the Total Restoration Massage Therapy experience to create and maintain an atmosphere of peace as it pertains to “authentic and legitimate” massage therapy. An additional goal within my purpose as a vessel for healing, is to tear down perverted images of healing touch (specifically those associated with authentic and legitimate massage therapy) and to build new images for existing and prospective Total Restoration Massage Therapy clients. The quarterly pages of TRJ will primarily deliver truths pertaining to Clinical Massage Therapy while outlining the overall benefits for you. You will also receive innovative and exciting information and news as it pertains to general massage therapy and to Total Restoration Massage Therapy LLC.
